<p>The EGW Writings 2 application offers a comprehensive collection of the published writings of Ellen G. White, including the ability to read, search, and listen to her works. In addition, users have access to multiple additional resources, such as 14 different Bible versions, including the King James Version, and dictionaries including the 1828 Noah Webster’s American Dictionary. With over 800,000 pages of resources available in the app, it serves as the most complete Adventist resource currently available.

The latest version of the app, Version 7, introduces several new features, including syncing of Study Center data and user history through EGW Cloud, the addition of My Library functionality, an updated bookshelf layout, an updated reader layout, and a new reader toolbar. The update also includes additional color themes and numerous bug fixes. Advanced search options have been added, allowing users to search within specific collections, such as All Collections, Compilations, or Lifetime Works, and perform ordered searches. The update also includes new book covers.

About the author, Ellen G. White (1827-1915), she is widely recognized as one of the most translated American authors. Her works have been published in more than 160 languages. Guided by the Holy Spirit, she focused on exalting Jesus and pointing readers to the Scriptures as the foundation of their faith. Her writings span a wide range of spiritual and practical topics, covering areas such as spirituality, health, education, ministry, finances, and marriage advice. Her most renowned and translated work is Steps to Christ, followed by the Conflict of the Ages series which includes Patriarchs and Prophets, Prophets and Kings, Desire of Ages, Acts of the Apostles, and The Great Controversy. Additionally, Ellen G. White is credited as one of the three co-founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The app provides access to a vast collection of materials, including 120 titles by Ellen G. White, a comprehensive list of her complete published writings, a 6-volume biography, 21 devotionals, 167 pamphlets, 5,000 periodical articles, 9,347 letters and manuscripts files, 13 miscellaneous collections, and a 21-volume manuscript releases. Additionally, the app includes the King James Version Bible as well as 11 other versions and Noah Webster’s American Dictionary from 1828.

The EGW Writings 2 app offers a range of features designed to enhance the user experience. The app now supports 137 languages, allowing users to read or search both online and offline. Reading and listening history can be synced with EGW Cloud, as well as Study Center data. The new bookshelf layout is customizable, and the collections are color coded for easy navigation: EGW books are marked in blue, reference materials in gold, the Bible in burgundy, and APL in green. Users have access to 14 different Bible translations and can quickly access specific books, pages or paragraphs using the search function. Both vertical and horizontal reading views are available, and users can easily navigate to specific Bible verses by tapping on the header. Horizontal swipes allow for easy navigation between chapters. The app also allows for text copying and pasting into other applications. Bookmarks can be added to any Bible verse or EGW paragraph, and highlighted words or phrases can be searched for. The app features fast indexed search results with easy-scroll access to hits and allows users to navigate within chapters to view search results. Daily Devotional Readings are included, along with hyperlinked Bible references within EGW books. Users can look up definitions in the provided dictionary and utilize features such as Bookmarks, Highlights, Notes within the Study Center. The app also includes highlighting functionality with 16 million color options. Users can add bookmarks and highlights to topic folders and have access to reading and audiobook history. Quotes can be shared via email or through supported social networking apps, such as Facebook or Twitter.</p>
